June is national dairy month and around here that starts with the Great Wisconsin Cheese Festival. Wisconsin's official kickoff to summer! Nestled along the Fox River, this 3 day entertainment extravaganza is packed with fun for everyone. People of all ages will enjoy the Big Cheese Parade that takes place along Main Street on Saturday morning. With tons of entries in our "Cheesiest float" contest you never know what you'll see. Candy, Clowns, Floats, Marching Bands, and heck you might even score some free cheese curds at this parade. Are you into physical fitness and looking for a unique experience? Our Cheddar Chase is a 1 mile walk/run like no other. It actually puts you on the parade route! In addition to exercise, and a great time, entrants also get a free T-shirt. The Cheddar Chase will definitely make your Big Cheese Parade experience one to remember. Back down at the festival grounds you'll find more fun than you can imagine. Cheese Fest is excited about our partnership with KISS F.M. Radio and we are the proud host of KISS F.M.'s Summer Slam! KISS is being pretty tight lipped about who will be performing this year. They won't even tell us! But we do know that there will be at least 2 or 3 national touring acts performing on Saturday afternoon. How cool is that! At night the sun may go down but the lights go up in a big way as Cheese Fest turns into Cheesejam! Throughout the weekend you will hear a variety of bands that are sure to get your feet moving. Food, Soda, Beer, if you can put cheese on it you'll find it at Cheese Fest. After the free cheese tasting you might need to sit and take a break. No worries, there are plenty of places around the festival grounds to relax and take in the cheesy atmosphere. There will also be a cheese carver - you will be amazed at his final creation as he works his magic right in front of you. Looking for more for the kids? We have a whole stage packed with entertainers all weekend just for them! Magicians, jugglers, balloon twisters, there's always something to see on the family stage. Or you can check out the free petting zoo we have on Saturday and Sunday. Oh and we don't just have carnival rides, we have $1.00 carnival rides! As well as a full amusement park right on the grounds. They even make a homemade corn dog with cheese in it! Are you getting excited yet? Don't miss our famous cheese curd eating contest and miss out on sampling some gourmet mac & cheese dishes!

We are so happy to be able to do what we do and we know we couldn't do it without all the support we have gotten through the years. Thanks to your generous support over the last 30 years Cheese Fest has been able to donate over ONE MILLION DOLLARS back to the community! That is a huge accomplishment and we couldn't be more proud.
