2018 is the 40th Folk Music Festival
August 10, 11 & 12

The Shawano Folk Music Festival is a family weekend with an eclectic mix of music, dance and activities. Fine artists and crafters line the park paths, and there is a full program for children. Friday and Saturday evening concerts are held inside airconditioned Mielke Arts Center, with 4 performers each night.

Saturday and Sunday daytime programs include music, dance, children's programs, craft demos, sing-alongs, and instruction on 4 outdoor stages in Shawano's Mielke Park. Local vendors offer an array of good food, and the Open Stage invites musicians a chance to perform for an appreciative audience.

It's a family weekend, and it goes on rain or shine. Join us for an evening, a day, or the entire weekend. The festival is sponsored by the Shawano County Arts Council, and is produced entirely by volunteers.
