Forest Fest features logging equipment demonstrations, a lumberjack breakfast, arts, craft and food vendors, exhibits, horse-drawn wagon rides, childrens activities, chainsaw carving, papermaking, historical logging equipment, and more!
Exhibits and programs celebrated all the forest has to offer and focused on: wood harvesting, wood products, wilderness, the forest, wildlife, water quality and recreation. Demonstrations from logging industry professionals talked about the history of logging, current safety practices, harvesting, transporting, and preparing wood for use. There were several exhibits that demonstrated how wood is used to make everyday products.
