Description:
Spring into Zion’s 5th Annual Craft Fair. Saturday, March 7th from 9:00 – 3:00. Get ready for spring with over 40 vendors showcasing a variety of handcrafted items. Admission and Parking are free. Lunch and fresh baked goods will be sold.
Thre is no entertainment provided at this event. The entertainment is in the entire festive event.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Submit one photo of the work you will be displaying and one of your booth set-up. Crafters who have been in the fair in the past still must submit pictures. (If not already on file)
2. Enclose a letter size, self-addressed, stamped envelope for your acceptance notification.
3. Enclose a check for the booth fee and table rental fee (if needed).
4. Complete and sign the application.
5. Deadline for applications is once the fair is full. THE FAIR FILLS QUICKLY!
HOURS: Setup is available on Friday from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 pm. and on the day of the event from 7:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. Craft Fair hours are 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Vendors must be ready to sell at 9:00 a.m. and WILL NOT BREAK DOWN their displays until 3:00 p.m. All Vendors are responsible for removing their display by 5:00 pm. the day of the event or they will be accessed a $20.00 fee.
BOOTH FEES: Booth fees will vary depending on size of booth selected. No commission is charged; however, crafters are required to donate one item to the raffle. Tables (3x8) or (3x6) may be rented for $5.00 per table. There are a limited number of tables available. Chairs are provided at no extra charge and must be kept within the booth.
ELECTRICITY: Booth rental with electricity is limited. Vendors are responsible for their own extension cords and/or power bars. No cords will be taped onto the floor, which may impede the traffic flow of our customers.
CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS: Any cancellations must be in written form. A full refund will be given if cancellation is postmarked by February 15, 2006. Any cancellations received between February 16th and March 2nd, will result in a refund less 50% of full payment. Cancellations received on March 3rd or 4th will result in NO refund.
TAXES: Exhibitors are responsible for collecting and submitting all required taxes. Milwaukee County currently collects 5.65% sales tax; this amount may change before fair time. Crafters are responsible for any business license fees.
SECURITY: The church will be locked at night. Every precaution will be taken to secure your property. However, we cannot be responsible or liable for any injury in your booth to any customer or exhibitor and/or, loss or damage property in your booth for any reason. You will be responsible for any insurance coverage for your personal property and/or injury to any customer/persons in your booth.
ACCEPTABLE CATEGORIES: You may sell any type of craft as long as it is “family friendly.” This means no vulgarities, sexual content, anti-religious items, satanic items, or anything you would not find in a standard church of any religion.
DISPLAYS: Exhibitors must bring their own display materials. No items may be attached to the walls of the exhibit hall. Tables should be draped to the floor on all sides. Booths must be kept clean at all times, and must be left clean at the end of the fair. All items not displayed must be kept under your tables and out of sight. If your craft or display causes damage to our facility, either to the walls or the carpet, we will hold you financially responsible for the damage that occurs.
SMOKING: NO smoking allowed in the hall of the craft fair or at the entrances to the craft fair. An area will be available for those who wish to smoke.
FOOD: A complete breakfast and lunch can be purchased from the church kitchen during the fair.
ADVERTISING: ZION UCC will provide publicity in the local area for the Craft Fair via flyers, lawn signs, and newspapers. Vendors are encouraged to advertise the Craft Fair in their local area with the flyer supplied by Zion UCC. Permission is granted to use our flyers in your local media. Any costs incurred are the vendors’ responsibility.
